The lineup issues of Manchester United are getting clearer as the 2015-2016 Premier League goes deeper and week 4 of competitions have shown the Red Devils' shortage of striking options behind Englishman Wayne Rooney. The English transfer window will close on Tuesday and if Louis van Gaal and Ed Woodward would really want to make a move, they should do it now.

David De Gea and £65 million in exchange for Gareth Bale: The rumors of De Gea moving to the Bernabéu before the window closes had never been so loud.

ESPN hinted of a possible swap between the 24-year-old goalkeeper and Real Madrid winger Gareth Bale. The 26-year-old Wales international could be the El Galactico answer that van Gaal was looking for to improve his offense.

However, Los Blancos president Florentino Perez was quick to refute the rumors saying that they want De Gea but Bale is out of the deal. The latest is Real have offered £29 million for the Spaniard. Verdict: Fiction.

Anthony Martial, 19, is Man United's latest striker target: The 19-year-old French forward is reportedly the apple of the eye of van Gaal and Woodward these days and they are said to be preparing a £36 million bid to Monaco for the Massy, France native, as per the Daily Mail Online.

United's only striker apart from Rooney, Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez, transferred to German club Bayer Leverkusen on Sunday leaving the team with a lone striker in Old Trafford and the team badly needs one at the moment. Verdict: Fact.

Goalie Víctor Valdés to be sent to Besiktas: It was reported three days ago that goalie Víctor Valdés is on his way to Turkish club Besiktas at an undisclosed amount after he admitted that he was unhappy at the Old Trafford for quite some time now.

The 33-year-old Spain international was left behind during the team's recent International Champions Cup stint in North America despite the issues with De Gea, which confirmed that he is primed to be moved out of Old Trafford.

However, a recent report from BBC Sports said that the deal with Besiktas is canceled and he will stay. Verdict: Fiction.
