The highly anticipated 2015 LG Nexus 5 was once again on the tech spotlight after a new leak hinted the phone's possible specs.

The Snapdragon 808 chipset powers some of the today's high-end smartphones, the LG G4 is among them. Despite its powerful set of specs, many tech experts pointed the chipsets lack of computing power when compared to the Snapdragon 810 chipset.

The Snapdragon 808 has two A57 cores and four A53 cores. On the other hand, the Snapdragon 810 has four A57 cores as well as A53 cores. The Adreno 418 graphics processing unit has some decent performance number but does not quite live to the efficiency and out of the Adreno 420 which was released in 2014.

Internal memory for the 2015 LG Nexus 5 is believe to be at least 3GB. The smartphone's 5.2-inch display is believed to support full HD resolution. This is an interesting choice for LG, higher resolution means crispier and smoother graphics but demands additional battery consumption.

Battery life is one of the biggest factor considered by consumers in buying a smartphone and the upgraded resolution of the new Nexus smartphone could mean that Google is working into upgrading its battery pack. Many were surprised when the leaked specs reveal that the device will have a 2700mAh battery pack which is considered minimal in current standards.

However, Google might remedy this lack of battery power by introducing power-saving features into its operating system. Camera is believed to be 12.3-megapixel for the main one and 5-megapixel for the secondary, according to Phandroid

As for storage options, the device will come in two variants; 16GB and 32GB. It still unconfirmed whether the device will support microSD or external memory card for storage expansion. The 2015 LG Nexus 5 is expected to be released by the end of September.
