The vampires sired to the Mikaelson siblings will arrive to New Orleans in "The Originals" Season 3. Joseph Morgan, who portrays Original hybrid Klaus Mikaelson, teased in an interview about the incorporation of the vampire sire lines storyline in the upcoming new season of the CW TV series.
According to Entertainment Weekly, things will be complicated between Klaus and his first sired vampire named Lucien (Andrew Lees). Joseph Morgan shared in an EW interview that Klaus' creation of his first sired vampire taught the other Originals how to make their own vampire children.
"There's definitely a bond there. We owe each other a lot," Morgan teased. However, Klaus and Lucien's reunion will not be a pleasant one in "The Originals" Season 3.
Morgan added that the arrival of Lucien and the sired vampires of Rebekah (Claire Holt/Maisie Richardson-Sellers) and Elijah (Daniel Gillies) will also have the element of their contact with the other sired vampires of the Original family. Morgan told EW that the arrival of the sired vampires to New Orleans will serve as a reminder and a warning to the Mikaelson siblings.
Meanwhile, series creator and executive producer Julie Plec teased about the relationship of the Mikaelson siblings in the early episodes of "The Originals" Season 3. Klaus' plan to defeat Aunt Dahlia (Claudia Black) in order to protect baby Hope in "The Originals" Season 2 has damaged his relationship with Rebekah and Elijah as well as Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) and Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin).
Plec explained that the arrival of the new threats in New Orleans will have the fans wondering if the Mikaelson siblings, particularly Klaus and Elijah, will put aside their conflicts to become united in defeating their common enemy. Plec further teased that one of the major questions in "The Originals" Season 3 is whether the Elijah-Klaus bond will be fixed and the two will be able to stand together or Klaus' actions in the previous season, such as killing Elijah's new love interest Gia (Nishi Munshi) and placing the Crescent Curse again on Hayley and her pack, has shattered the relationship between the Mikaelson brothers.
"The Originals" Season 3 will premiere on Thursday night, Oct. 8, at 9/8c on the CW Network.
