Even though HTC One M8 is HTC's flagship device of the past, it is still considered to be a very powerful smart phone.

HTC and Google, both confirmed recently that the HTC One M8 will be getting the Android Marshmallow upgrade along with HTC One M9. Android Marshmallow is expected to be launched along with Google Nexus 5 2015 in the month of October this year.

It is also confirmed that HTC One M7 will not receive the Android Marshmallow update, as HTC dropped the support for the device a couple of months ago. HTC One M8 will get HTC's support for another year and HTC One M9 will be suppored for a couple of more years.

Even though HTC One M8 seems to be a little outdated in wake of the recently released devices, but the users still find this phone to be extremely efficient and user friendly.

HTC One M8 seems to be winning the test of time, forcing the company to make it eligible for the upcoming new Android Marshmallow upgrade, according to GSM Arena. With this new operating system, the already loved phone will become even more user friendly.

It will get a whole new revamped look and a whole new user experience as well. It is yet to be announced if there will an upgrade from Sense 7.0 to Sense 8.0 for HTC One M8.
