"Game of Thrones" actor Jason Momoa has shared his thoughts on people's jokes on Aquaman.

Momoa will be bringing the King of Atlantis to DC's Cinematic Universe and reports say that people view his character as an insignificant member of the Justice League. In his interview with a panel at the Fan Expo Canada 2015, Momoa said that the "fishy" jokes on his character were "cute and funny." Despite of these jokes, the actor told people to wait a bit more and they could make jokes.

Momoa's statement was suggestive that he was proud of his portrayal as Aquaman, as per Cinema Blend. In addition, he revealed in the interview that certain elements from his previous roles could influence his take on Aquaman. While some people think that the King of Atlantis is a pointless member of the Justice League, Momoa's confidence with his words could possibly change people's viewpoint on the superhero.

Aside from David Benioff and D.B. Weiss' "Game of Thrones," Momoa is also known for his roles in Marcus Nispel's action adventure film "Conan the Barbarian" and Walter Hill's action thriller film "Bullet to the Head." He is also set to appear in Ana Lily Amirpour's romantic film "The Bad Batch," Marc Cullen and Robb Cullen's comedy "Going Under," and Richard Gray's drama thriller "Sugar Mountain."

Before he appears in James Wan's solo "Aquaman" spin-off film, Momoa is set to debut the King of Atlantis in DC's Cinematic Universe in Zack Snyder's "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice." Snyder's film serves as the foundation to the emergence of the Justice League. Momoa will be joining Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Ray Fisher, Amy Adams, and Jesse Eisenberg, among others.

Snyder's "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is slated to premiere in theaters on Mar. 25, 2016 while Wan's "Aquaman" is set to hit the big screen on July 27, 2018. Watch his interview here:
