The third quarter is coming to an end and the tech world is all ears for the big releases this year including the new iPhone 6S on Sept. 9.

When the year started, iPhone 6S was just a rumor, but since many sources have confirmed that the product actually exists, analyst are saying that the new product will exceed past iPhone sales projections.

According to Forbes, the new upgraded product will now cover the part of the market that shifted to competitors.

In an analysis conducted by Above Avalon, there is about 120-200 million users ready to upgrade their iPhone device to 6S.

Above Avalon analysts said that these statistics are not only useful for determining the users who are ready to upgrade but also for creating predictions on the users who will utilize services like Apple Pay and Apple Music.

The analysis was also based from the fact that phone users usually take 18 to 24 months to upgrade their device. This statistic might also include Apple users who have not upgraded to iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus this year.

Additionally, since Apple has been pushing for the Chinese market, they might gain a surge of new users in this geography. According to statistical prediction, this could be the first time Apple will break their launch records.

Meanwhile, Bloomberg has confirmed that the new iPhone 6S will have Force Touch as one of its outstanding features. Though Force Touch has already been implemented in other Apple products, adding this feature to the new iPhone 6S is a smart move.

However, there could be a risk in planting a sensitive touch gesture in the phone. As Forbes pointed out, the feature could just complicate the users' experience. Since there are so many new features to be explored in the new Apple smartphone, the Force Touch could just be an added burden for all.
