Apple unveiled a cornucopia of new products on September 9, Wednesday, including new iPhones, iPad Pro, and Apple TV, giving consumers a chance to enjoy the latest devices from the tech giant. However, consumers can also enjoy older versions of Apple products in online bargain bins.

Technically Apple has already reduced the price of the last version to $69. However, it is nearly 55 percent cheaper than the new Apple TV, which costs $149.

iPad Mini 2

Apple introduced the iPad Mini 4 on Wednesday, featuring the iPad Air 2's power in a more compact 7.9-inch body. It has a starting price of $399.

Shoppers who want to save over $100 for a similar item should consider the discounted iPad Mini 2, which is now $269, according to NBC News.

The Mini 2 is slower compared with newer models. However, its features include a Retina display, 10-hour battery life, and access to the App Store's half a million apps.

iPhone 5S

The "entry-level" iPhone 5s has a loyal fan base. That is due mainly to the smaller touchscreen and more compact size. It now has a price point of $450.

The iPhone 5S can also be secured at no-charge. That is when it is bundled with a two-year contract.

Meanwhile, refurbished 5S smartphones cost about $300. That figure could plummet as more iPhone owners upgrade to the new 6S unit.

iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus

Most wireless carriers have ditched two-year contracts, which has affected the pricing of iPhones and other smartphones. That includes the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, whose prices have been slashed by $100.

The iPhone 6 now costs $549 and the 6Plus has a price point of $649. AT&T still has a two-year mobile contract that costs $99 for the 6 model and $199 for the 6 Plus unit.

iPhone 6 and 6 Plus include many of the iPhone 6S' features. However, the newest model also includes 3D Touch, a 12-megapixel camera, and 4K resolution video.

Some bad news is that the older iPhone gadgets will not be available in gold or 128GB versions, according to CNET.

Apple launched its iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus one year ago. Since then, the company's smartphones have made up over two-thirds of the company's total sales.
