"Under The Dome" Season 3 airs its finale, which also happens to be series finale, on Sept. 10, 2015. The Episode 13 is titled "The Enemy Within" wherein the dome will come down. "Under the Dome" Season 3 Finale spoilers teases big moments in the Episode 13 "Enemy Within." According to Spoiler TV's description of the series' final segment, the Dome in Chester's Mill finally comes down. At the same time, Big Jim and the other Resistance members go after the Kinship and the new Queen, who are ready to destroy the outside world with the help of the infected Chester Mill's residents.
Ahead of the finale, the network has released a promo video for "Under the Dome" Season 3 teasing the events of Episode 13 "The Enemy Within" and the "earth-shattering" moment when the dome goes down. Heavy on action, the finale segment sees an intense conclusion to the series based on Stephen King's novel with the same name. During the 2015 Television Critics Association's press tour, CBS entertainment chairman Nina Tassler dropped a major "Under the Dome" Season 3 finale spoiler.
"The Dome is coming down at the end of this season," Tassler revealed as quoted saying by Entertainment Weekly.
Tassler's statement led to speculations about the end of the series. Soon after, the big announcement was made and it was revealed that "Under the Dome" has been cancelled and will not be picked up for Season 4.
"We're excited to present the final chapter in Chester's Mill as the story comes full circle, with the dome coming down as dramatically as it went up."Tassler announced (via Variety.com).
