"Teen Wolf" actor Tyler Posey posted on Twitter his response to the circulating rumors that he will leave the MTV series after "Teen Wolf" Season 5. Posey has assured the fans through the social media site that he will stay and continue to portray Scott McCall in "Teen Wolf."

According to Carter Matt, Posey denied on Twitter about exiting "Teen Wolf" after season 5 concludes. "Teen wolf is my baby and I would never leave," Posey shared on his Twitter account @tylergposey on Wednesday, Sept. 9.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, series creator Jeff Davis talked about what will happen to "Teen Wolf" and the characters of the supernatural TV series. Davis admitted that the "Teen Wolf" team had already talked about where the characters will be post-high school but it is hard to declare.

Davis shared that when someone wants to discuss "Teen Wolf" Season 6, another person will respond that he or she does not even want to talk about it. When asked if "Teen Wolf" will most likely wrap up after the sixth season, Davis responded that he has no idea.

However, Davis shared to The Hollywood Reporter that he would love someone else to take over "Teen Wolf" beyond season 6. Davis added in the interview that it would be great to see perhaps Dylan Sprayberry, who portrays Liam Dunbar, take over the role of the Teen Wolf while Tyler Posey moves into a role that is more like Derek Hale (Tyler Hoechlin).

Davis also teased what the fans can expect in the second half episodes of "Teen Wolf" Season 5. Davis teased that they are treating "Teen Wolf" Season 5B like a big monster film.

The second half of the season will continue to be scary especially now that the Beacon Hills villains called the Dread Doctors have basically succeeded in their plans. Davis teased that there are some more surprises in store for the supernatural creatures in "Teen Wolf" Season 5B.

Additionally, the new "Teen Wolf" character Theo Raeken (Cody Christian) will continue to cause a lot of trouble for True Alpha werewolf Scott McCall in the second half episodes now that he has his own pack. Theo has resurrected chimeras Corey (Michael Johnston), Josh, Hayden (Victoria Moroles) and Tracy (Kelsey Chow) from the dead at the Nemeton in the mid-season finale episode.

"Teen Wolf" Season 5B will premiere in January 2016 on MTV.
