DC Entertainment has decided to include Booster Gold and Blue Beetle in a film in its Cinematic Universe, according to The Tracking Board. With the human alter ego Michael Jon Carter, Booster Gold is known as one of the members of the Justice League. Created by Dan Jurgens, Booster Gold seeks glory and publicity by utilizing his vast knowledge of historical events and advanced technology. The character has evolved through his publication history to become a true hero.

On the other hand, Blue Beetle is also known as a member of the Justice League International, Super Buddies, and Living Assault Weapons. The character has three human alter egos, Dan Garrett, Ted Kord, and Jaime Reyes.

Garrett, an archaeologist who discovers the power of the Blue Beetle Scarab to fight crime, was the original version. He was succeeded by Kord, who is known for his gadgetry and combat skills, specifically martial arts. Meanwhile, Reyes stands as the current Blue Beetle. He is a teenager who uses the scarab to form an exoskeleton and joins a group named Teen Titans later on.

According to Cinema Blend, the forthcoming project is viewed as a "bigger plan," since Blue Beetle was rumored to be part of the television series "Arrow" prior to the show's Season 3. However, it was revealed that DC had other plans for the Blue Beetle that he had been replaced with another character, The Atom.

Greg Berlanti is set to helm the project. He is known as the executive producer of the DC television shows "Arrow" and "Flash," along with the upcoming television series "Legends of Tomorrow" and "Supergirl."

Since the project is in its early phase of development, exact details on the plot, additional characters, cast members, and release date are yet to be revealed.
