Marvel's cinematic take on the first Wasp suit has been unveiled.

Concept illustrator Andy Park tweeted a photo on his official Twitter account on Sept. 23. The photo shows one of the original Wasp designs he made for Peyton Reed's Marvel Comics film "Ant-Man."

It is notable that his Wasp design has similar color schemes with Ant-Man's, which blends in her earlier comic book incarnations, as per Cinema Blend. The suit is red and black in color, in contrary to the yellow and black suit comic book fans have become acquainted with.

Park's design of the Wasp also features the superhero donning a helmet slightly similar to Ant-Mans, which is not a typical Wasp appearance. According to We Got This Covered, the Wasp design would be a suitable cinematic adaptation of the superhero.

Parked has contributed as the concept illustrator in a number of Marvel films, including Kenneth Branagh's "Thor," Joe Johnston's "Captain America: The First Avenger," Joss Whedon's "The Avengers" and "Avengers: Age of Ultron," James Gunn's "Guardians of the Galaxy," and Reed's "Ant-Man." He is set to be the lead concept artist for Joe Russo and Anthony Russo's upcoming "Captain America: Civil War."

With the human alterego Janet van Dyne, the Wasp was featured in Reed's "Ant-Man" sacrificing her existence in the human dimension to save humanity. While Dr. Hank Pym said that Wasp was already gone in the quantum realm, there are speculations saying that the character could still be alive and could appear at some point in Marvel's phase Three.

Evangeline Lilly played Hope van Dyne in Reed's "Ant-Man" and is also rumored to play the new incarnation of the Wasp, based on a teaser clip in Reed's "Ant-Man." It was at the conclusion of Reed's film that Dr. Pym unveiled the Wasp's costume to Hope, believing that she could help Ant-Man in his missions.

Meanwhile, Paul Rudd will reprise his role as Ant-Man in the Russos' "Captain America: Civil War," which centers on the release of the Accords. It is released by the government to limit superheroes from using their powers.

Marvel Studios has to confirm a rumored "Ant-Man" sequel while The Russos' "Captain America: Civil War" is set to premiere on May 6, 2016.
