It has been confirmed that iPhone 6S come with a better Touch ID sensor and GPU performance than those integrated in iPhone 6 Plus. iPhone 6S hardware also received a better substantial upgrade featuring a new A9 processor and improved RAM which puts it ahead of iPhone 6 Plus.
Apple improved the Touch ID sensor so that it could recognize fingerprints quicker than it did before. According to Mac Rumors, when compared to the iPhone 6 Plus, the iPhone 6S Touch ID proved superior by unlocking the phone immediately when the user rested their finger on the screen.
Not only that, iPhone 6S Touch ID features a two-step quality where the user's touch to the screen firstly wakes up the display and then takes them to the Home Screen. Users reported that the new iPhone 6S Touch ID is very first that a single tap on the screen unlocks the phone, Mac rumors reported.
Besides the new 12 megapixel camera and the 3D Touch, it has also been revealed that the GPU processing of iPhone 6S Plus beats that exhibited by iPhone 6 Plus.
This was proven when the gaming capabilities were tested by a developer using the famous metal project. Using Particle Lab, the developer allegedly tested the GPU performance of the two phones later discovering that with 4 million particles, the iPhone 6 ran at around 20 frames per second while the iPhone 6S ran at approximately 60 frames per second, The Next Web reported.
iPhone 6S Plus was therefore awarded a better mobile gaming experience when assessed with its close relative, the iPhone 6 Plus. When combined, the Superior GPU performance and the better Touch |ID would make iPhone 6S Plus a better choice.
