Adam Sandler's character is appalling in Genndy Tartakovsky's animated comedy film "Hotel Transylvania 2."

According to New York Post, while various incarnations of Draculas have been seen before, Sandler's Dracula is not an amusing one. In Tartakovsky's "Hotel Transylvania 2," Dracula is still an overprotective father to his daughter Mavis, who is now wed to human Johnny. It has also been reported that the film has detours and grouts that are set to prolong.

"Hotel Transylvania 2" was not able to follow the footsteps of its predecessor, according to Nola. Released on Sept. 28, 2012, Tartakovsky's "Hotel Transylvania" has got an estimated domestic gross of $148 million dollars and an approximate foreign gross of $210 million, for a total of an estimated gross of $358 million worldwide.

While "Hotel Transylvania" has become one of Sandler's highest-grossing film, "Hotel Transylvania 2" had an unfledged array of paroxysms, which are not striking enough for it to be remembered by the audience.

"Hotel Transylvania 2" is the sequel to Tartakovsky's "Hotel Transyvlvania." It follows Dracula and his friends as they try to bring out the monster in his half-vampire half-human grandson to keep his daughter Mavis from leaving the titular hotel.

With Tartakovsky in the director's seat, "Pixels" actor Adam Sandler and "Louie" writer Robert Smigel are on board to pen the film script. Meanwhile, Allen Covert, Skyle Lyons, Michelle Murdocca, and ben Waisbren are set to co-produce the film.

"Hotel Transylvania 2" features the voices of Jonny Solomon, Mel Brooks, Nick Offerman, Molly Shannon, Fran Drescher, Keegan-Michael Key, David Spade, Steve Buscemi, Kevin James, Andy Samberg, Selena Gomez, and Sandler.

Directed by Tartakovsky, "Hotel Transylvania 2" is now showing in theaters.
