Several reports suggest that the tech company Microsoft will unveil the Surface Pro 4 at the forthcoming event on October 6.

According to latest reports, the upcoming tablet will come with double GPU power than its predecessor Surface Pro 3. Microsoft Surface Pro 4 will ship with the integrated chip Intel 530 HD. This integrated chip is two times better than graphics units used in SP3.

Also, the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 will have an ultra-thin bezel like the Dell XPS 13. The bezel will be so slim that it will be non-existent on the sides and top and will be visible on the bottom only, Digital Trends reported. This suggests that the Windows button may either be removed completely or return to the bottom of the device.

According to rumors, the forthcoming Microsoft Surface Pro 4 will use a smart frame feature that will allow the device to change the bezel size depending on what mode it is being used in (desktop or tablet).

The user will have 13 inches of screen real estate in desktop mode and when switched to tablet mode, the bezel will shrink to 12 inches.

Earlier reports suggest that the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 will come in two display size variants, 14 and 12 inches. The bigger display model will bring the Surface Pro closer to resembling a laptop in performance as well as size. In addition, it could contain 1 TB of storage space and 16 GB of RAM.

According to Latin Post, the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 will likely run on Intel's Skylake Processor. The processor will help the upcoming tablet to run cooler than its predecessor.

The new tablet will have 5MP cameras, one on the front side and the another one on the back side.  In addition, it will support Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth 4.0.
