New "Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice" spoilers features a huge revelation of Jesse Eisenberg's Lex Luthor and the reasons for the film to have PG-13 rating.

The films main villain Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg) has been revealed to be the son of the of the original Lex Luthor. Known as "Alexander Joseph Luthor Jr.," Eisenberg's character is stated to be a 31-year-old wunderkind who transformed his father's company into a powerful tech empire after Luthor Sr. unexpectedly died in 2000, Fortune reported.

LexCorp was named after Lex Luthor Sr. ten years just before his son has entered his life with the investors responding with the idea of a father building an empire for his son and eventually succeeding him. Lex Luthor Jr. described his father as a "complicated man" and an East Germany emigre, who left his country because of how the government treats its people.

Eisenberg's role as Lex Luthor has met with mixed criticism from comic fans when the announcement was made by Warner Bros., similar as to how Ben Affleck was given the role of Bruce Wayne/Batman for "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice". Perhaps this change of origin could be director Zack Snyder's way of differentiating his Lex Luthor from previous versions, similar as to how Michael Rosenbaum's Lex Luthor was portrayed in "Smallville".

There is also a hint that LexCorp has been competing with other companies like Wayne Enterprises and Kord Industries hinting a rivalry between Bruce Wayne (Affleck) and Ted Kord, who in the comics is the second Blue Beetle.

In other news, "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" has been given a film rating of PG-13 by the Motion Picture Association of America due to its intense and violent nature of the film, Youth Health reported.

There is also a chance that Warner Bros. might edit out some scenes within "Batman V Superman" just to stay true to its rating and the film will undergo a second review process soon. Despite the PG-13 rating, fans are not surprised by the move as they point out that "Man of Steel" and Tim Burton's "Batman" have been met with the same rating.

"Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" will be release in cinemas on March 25, 2016.
