"New Girl" fans seem to have accepted the fact that Megan Fox will temporarily replace Zooey Deschanel in the first few episodes of season 5.

Just recently, FOX confirmed that Fox will be playing the role of Reagan, a smart pharmaceutical sales rep who will be renting out Jess' loft while she's in jury duty.

At that time, fans started slamming the network, as well as the show's executive producers for allegedly putting an actress who is not necessarily fun in the comedy show.

However, executive producer and creator Liz Meriweather told fans in a statement that they just have to accept the fact that the "This is 40" actress has been cast, according to Deadline.

Still, fans didn't stop for posting negative remarks about Fox, as well as the fate of "New Girl" season 5 now that Deschanel is still on maternity leave.

Now, it seems that everyone is hush-hush after Fox was spotted on her way to the set of "New Girl" earlier this month.

In one of the photos that was leaked online, the actress could be seen wearing casual attire.

Meanwhile, according to Crossmap, even though Jess has been sequestered to jury duty, fans will still see her in some scenes of the upcoming installment.

However, Deschanel herself will film and be part of new episodes after episode 4.

"New Girl" season 5 will also feature the much-awaited union of Schmidt (Max Greenfield) and Cece (Hanna Simone). Before their wedding day arrives, Schmidt will stress himself too much with the wedding preparations.

"New Girl" season 5 will premiere on FOX next year.
