According to U.S.-based Chinese news outlet Duowei News, China's rise to global power status over the last three decades has contributed at least five "universal values."

First among these values is the maintenance of a strong national power. Duowei cited that China's one-party rule has provided security and ensured the possibility of progress. The country's national power is controlled by the ruling Communist Party.

The report noted that while this model is vulnerable to corruption, it is effective in managing a nation, especially in stamping out "political struggles."

The second is the establishment of practical independence. Duowei said that the last few decades have seen China develop its own system with "Chinese characteristics." Its government has embarked on its own unique style to boost growth, veering away from depending on other countries.

China has also shown the significance of advancing reforms, which the news outlet said was an easy concept to understand but difficult to sustain. Duowei lauded the nation's efforts to carry on its commitments and achieve its targets while addressing problems that arise.

Fourth is the taking of a step-by-step approach. Compared with the so-called "color revolutions," China has opted to take a gradual process in implementing its reforms and liberalization endeavors. The media outfit commended this scheme as a strategy that ensures stability and security.

Duowei said that by traversing such path, the country has acquired ample time to combat and correct national issues such as corruption and wealth gap.

Lastly, China has contributed the value of not being afraid to liberalize and open up. Duowei emphasized that this ideal has been a crucial factor in the country's development. China's way of observing from other countries and learning from the rest of the world has helped the country keep up with the fast-paced globalization growth.
