Caitlyn Jenner's eldest son, Burt Jenner, made some shocking revelations when he declared that he was well aware of the transgender identity of father, earlier known as Bruce Jenner, for the last 25 years and had closely guarded the secret till the time she started talking about the same.
"A lot of people don't know that this is something that I've known now for, I think, 25 years," the professional competitive race car driver told Esquire during an interview before adding that he had always tried to be "an outspoken supporter of the LGBT community."
The 37-year-old also claimed he was very excited and relieved when Caitlyn declared her true self to the world. He recalled an incident when he decided to dress as Lady Gaga as a teenager, but was afraid that people might label him as transgender too. However, he decided to go against the odds and simply ignore what others may think.
Burt is Caitlyn's first child with her ex-wife Chrystie Scott with whom she was married from 1972 to 1981.
Meanwhile, the former Olympian, who underwent a life changing transition from male to female and has now established a new identity for herself this year, has been named as one of the Woman Of The Year by Glamour Magazine on Oct. 29, Thursday.
Talking about the accolade, Caitlyn revealed that the transition was not a smooth one and she even contemplated suicide at one point, Glamour reported.
