In Episode 5, fans saw Alicia and Lucca's first venture together. The two partners excelled at their first case that involved student-loan debt.
Moving on to Episode 6 of "The Good Wife" Season 7. According to the synopsis for "Lies" (via Cartermatt), Alicia and Lucca take up a new case of an employee of a technology firm. Their client was dismissed from his job for failing the polygraph test.
At the same time, Alicia has a new problem to deal with. Eli has a plan to ruin Peter's presidential campaign as an attempt to even scores. However, this plan could potentially create problems for Alicia.
A promo video (via SpoilerTV) for "The Good Wife" Season 7 teases the events of Episode 6 "Lies." It shows Eli and Ruth having a meal together. "We could win. We need to work together Eli," Ruth tells Eli in the video.
