"The Vampire Diaries" star Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed are reportedly using their campaign against animal cruelty to fight their divorce and baby-related issues.
According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, the couple has been having problems when it comes to their marriage because they are not able to agree on things.
For instance, Somerhalder wants his wife to stop portraying sexy roles on TV because he wants her to be prepared when they have children of their own.
However, Reed is not ready to give up her role on "Sleepy Hollow" because she also wants to take care of her career.
Additionally, the couple is reportedly having problems about when is the best time to have children.
Multiple sources revealed that Somerhalder wants to have children in a few years, but Reed still wants to take her sweet time.
Meanwhile, according to Gossip Cop, there is no truth to rumors that Somerhalder and Reed are just using their recent campaign to veer away from their personal issues.
"Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed's new animal rights campaign was NOT launched to fight rumors about their supposedly troubled marriage, despite a fabricated webloid report," the publication said.
They also revealed that they can confirm that the rumors are not true because an insider told their publication.
"A source close to the couple exclusively tells Gossip Cop that the webloid's account is simply not true."
