As of this writing, the Figment VR Kickstarter campaign have raised $26,344 of its $75,000 goal. The campaign will close on Jan. 13, 2016.

The Figment VR is available in two color variants; black or white. It works with several virtual reality apps like VRSE, Jaunt VR and Google Cardboard. According to The Verge, the Figment VR also works well with 360-degree videos that can be found on Facebook or YouTube.

The virtual reality viewer is made from 30 different components, each made of durable plastic or 6000 series aluminum. Quantum Bakery, the same company behind the Glow headphones, designed the Figment VR.

The Figment VR has a couple of circular triggers that snap the goggles into place, right in between the user and the iPhone screen.  Since it is designed to work as an iPhone case, the goggles rest back into place and do not present any obstruction to the user when not in use.

Quantum Bakery is designing Figment VR models for the iPhone 6S, iPhone 6S Plus, iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. The company said that it is also working on a version designed for Android smartphones.

A limited version of the Figment VR will be released for $49. The case will cost $79 when it hits the market in 2016.
