While the trio will spend the holiday volunteering at a soup kitchen, newly-married Elliot (Rex Lee) will be shown yearning for his husband Alan (Bryan Safi).

This will be the last time that "Young & Hungry" will be seen on ABC Family since the show's upcoming season will be aired on the network's new channel, Freeform. The season 3 is set to premiere on Feb. 3, 2016.

"Young & Hungry" season 2 has ended with an interesting turn wherein Gabi was shown kissing Josh's carefree younger brother Jake.

Jake had arrived unannounced and declared that he intend to be a chef. Owing to their common interests, Jake and Gabi have an instant connection while Josh felt a pang of jealousy as he too is attracted towards her.

"Young & Hungry" season 3 spoilers indicate that Gabi and Jake venture out into their mission of running a food truck in Coachella but somehow fail in their mission and return to Josh in San Francisco, Bustle reported.

It is also a possibility that Gabi and Jake get along well and the latter wants to propose her when she realizes that she loves Josh instead.
