New "Final Fantasy XV" details reveal new gameplay features such as Gambit System and Monster climbing, as well as a possible PC version and Fall 2016 launch date.
Square Enix will feature new gameplay feature in "Final Fantasy XV's" combat system as lead game designer and A.I. programmer Prasertvithyakarn Prasert will likely incorporate the "Gambit sytem" and "Monster climbing" for game when he answered a fan's question during Q&A session, Segment Next reported.
Prasert explained that he and Square Enix created a system were in the player will decide how Noctis' combat style works along with different allies in terms of skill and leveling up similar to the Gambit System in "Final Fantasy XII", but better and more effective.
As for the Monster climbing feature, Square Enix lead designer and combat planner Yuji Kenichiro explained that this feature can debilitate enemy units by targeting certain body parts in their anatomy and will play a key role in certain situations.
This combat feature will be effective against larger opponents as gamers will have a choice to attack them directly or come up with strategy and pick a body part to strike.
Prasert added that more information on the Gambit System and Monster climbing will be revealed by Square Enix very soon.
In other news, it seems that a PC version for "Final Fantasy XV" will likely happen soon as Square Enix posted a job opening for people with skills on online management, knowledge over game production and system design and an interest in playing PC games, Gematsu reported.
Gaming fans expressed their interest in making a PC version of "Final Fantasy XV" going so far as to make a petition for Square Enix in Change.org. and has acquired over 15,166 signatures so far.
Square Enix also posted another job offer this time they will need someone the handle the game's promotion and marketing duties for "Final Fantasy XV" within the duration of 12 months, hinting that the game's launch date could happen in the Fall 2016.
"Final Fantasy XV" will launch sometime in 2016 for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles.
