Popular massively multiplayer online game "Blade and Soul" will be released early next year in Europe and North America as registration for the Closed Beta period started.
Game publisher NCSoft West revealed that players in the West can finally participate in "Blade and Soul" starting on Jan. 19, 2016 immediately at midnight.
People who acquired a Founder's Pack will get an early advantage as "Blade and Soul" and will be available to them on Jan. 15, 2016, according to GameSpot.
Likewise, the Closed Beta phase will commence on Nov. 24, Tuesday and will continue until Nov. 30, according to iDigitalTimes.
In order to play "Blade and Soul" during the Closed Beta period, individuals should purchase any of the three Founder's Packs provided by NCSoft West: Initiate Pack, Disciple Pack and Master Pack.
The first package, Initial Pack, costs $24.99 and grants players with 2 character titles and 20,800 premium points.
The second package titled the Disciple Pack is more expensive at $74.99, although the perks are greater, such as a 30-day premium membership, a single name reservation slot, a basic booster pack, one character alteration voucher, 34,400 premium points, a couple of extra character slots and 2,400 Ncoins.
Third, players can buy the Master Pack for $124.99 and grant their accounts with four character tiles, 48,000 premium points, a three-month premium membership, two name reservation slots, an extended booster pack, five extra character slots, 7,200 Ncoins, a unique head accessory, a unique weapon skin and various unique costumes.
Moreover, "Blade and Soul" is a free-to-play online game inspired by classic Asian films about martial arts and adventures, such as "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon." Basically, the game employs the Wuxia genre that concentrates on Asian chivalry and fantasy.
To capitalize on the martial arts influence, "Blade and Soul" features a dazzling combat system that could be customized without having to be needlessly complex.
"Blade and Soul" is created by NCSoft, which is responsible for other successful online games such as "Lineage," "Aion" and "Guild Wars 2."
