Sam Smith recently revealed that he is a huge fan of Justin Bieber's new album "Purpose." The "Stay With Me" singer took to Twitter to reach out to the 21-year-old singer to congratulate him on his successful comeback.
"F*ck. I am in love with @justinbieber's album!! It's soulful and honest and just beautiful xx thank you for Le music sir xx," he tweeted.
Bieber immediately tweeted back and thanked Smith. He added that the compliment meant a lot to him.
Smith is currently in Manila for the "last ever" "In The Lonely Hour" tour. The singer had to cancel his sold out concert in May due to health reasons.
In other news, Smith shared that he will be taking a break from his music career for a while. In an interview with Jimmy Fallon, via M magazine, the 23-year-old singer explained that he needed to take a breather, go back to dating in order to get inspiration for his songs.
"All my music is so personal, I need to step away a little bit and date a little bit, and see my family, and get in some arguments with my mom - haven't had enough of those recently - so I can be inspired to write some more music. That's the plan," he said.
The singer added that his music is mostly based on his love life. He said that he always gets his inspiration from its up and downs. Smith added that he cannot wait to go back to London and live life like any other 23-year-old.
