Fans of "New Girl" season 5 have become overly concerned when it comes to Nick and Jess' storylines.
Just recently, photos of Megan Fox's Reagan kissing Jake Johnson's Nick surfaced online.
Fans started speculating that Reagan will attempt to steal Nick's attention and heart away from Jess (Zooey Deschanel) especially since she won't be around in multiple episodes.
However, TV Line just reported that Deschanel already pre-taped three episode of "New Girl" season 5 before she went on maternity leave.
The three episodes will focus on Jess and Nick teaming up to become the best Maid and Honor and Best Man for Cece (Hanna Simone) and Schmidt (Max Greenfield).
They will also "plan an elaborate engagement party for the newly engaged couple, including but not limited to an elaborate Bollywood dance number," the publication noted.
After the first three episodes of "New Girl" season 5, fans of Deschanel would have to wait out for her return.
In real life, the actress is still on maternity leave after giving birth to her daughter Elsie Otter Pechenik with husband Jacob.
Back in August, Deschanel gave birth to her daughter in Austin, Texas. According to E! News she also secretly wed her boyfriend Pechenik around the same time.
Deschanel and Pechenik started dating in 2014 after they met on the set of a movie. Earlier this year, they announced their engagement.
"New Girl" season 5 will premiere on FOX sometime next year. The series will continue to revolve around the four main characters on the show. Fox will remain as a recurring guest star.
