"Avengers: Infinity War," an upcoming two-part series in the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Phase 3, may feature a battle between the Hulk and Captain America, and a newly formed association between Avengers and the Guardians.

An imminent battle between Hulk and Captain America may be in development for the upcoming installment in the Avengers cinematic series, Movie Pilot reported. The first installment saw a fight between Avengers members Iron Man and Thor in a disagreement regarding the fate of Loki. A subsequent combat was between Thor and Hulk when Loki ran away.

It was rumored that Captain America might be the latest Avenger to face Hulk since the latter appears to get into some sort of problems with other members of the team in each of the Avengers films.

On the other hand, Australia Network News pointed out that Captain America might himself beat Hulk in another one of his ruthless storms. However, Mark Ruffalo's Hulk will not feature in the latest "Captain America: Civil War" movie in spite of him coming back for "Avengers: Infinity War."

Previously, Ruffalo unveiled, "My character had been in the script, but then he got removed. Who knows, maybe the Hulk will never return. They want to keep the revelation of what happened to him a secret, because it's something really big."

Reportedly, Thanos aka Mad Titan will be the main villain in the back-to-back Avengers movies. Therefore, the Avengers may collaborate with the Guardians with the hope of beating the marvel Cinematic Universe's (MCU" supervillain. It was reported that Thanos is not only a big threat to Earth but also the entire galaxy, and it is upon the two superhero teams to bring him down.

"Avengers: Infinity War" is a two-part installment to the previous movies, "The Avengers" and "Avengers: Age of Ultron." Part 1 of the upcoming film is slated to premiere on May 4, 2018, while part 2 will come out on May 3, 2019. The two movies will be part of the MCU's Phase 3 as the sixth and tenth sequel.
