With "Star Wars" films featureing epic journeys and battle scenes, director J.J. Abrams revealed the most disturbing among them.

Abrams directed "Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens," the upcoming film installement of the "Star Wars" franchise. As per Abrams, the most disturbing moment involved Princess Leia, who was held by Darth Vader. Vader tortured Leia, who was his own daughter, for information. Abrams said that it was scary at the time and it got just really creepy when one thought about it. For Abrams' that was the worst and it was horrible.

According to Cinema Blend, even though the whole torture scene happened off screen, the sinister dark floating robot with the scary needle was the scene that would be remembered by anooanyone who first saw "Star Wars." With a familial connection between Leia and Vader not known to the audience, some believe that it put a tinge of awfulness to its sequence.

"Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens" is set 30 years after the events in the "Return of Jedi." It showcases an ensemble of both old and new heroes and villains played by Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Domhnall Gleeson, Oscar Isaac, Max von Sydow, Simon Pegg, Gwendoline Christie, Adam Driver, Mark Hamill, Harriso Ford, and Carrie Fisher, among others.

Abrams' "Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens" is slated to premiere in theaters in the United States on Dec. 18.
