"Mortal Kombat X's" Kombat Pack 2 DLC has been disclosed a week ago, but not everyone was delighted with the lineup of guest characters.

"Mortal Kombat X" gaming enthusiasts were able to see the four guest characters that are going to be part of Kombat Pack 2. The lineup of characters includes Bo' Rai Cho, Leatherface from "Texas Chainsaw Massacre," Tri-Borg and Alien. While Bo' Rai Cho and Tri-Borg are entirely embraced by the fans, the same could not be said for Leatherface, which has caused the controversy, Design & Trend reported.

The question now is why would Leatherface be thought of as an important addition. Director Brian Chard of Nether Realm Studios said that the decision was made through the involvement of a number of people in the development including the Warner Bros., the game publisher. That said, it helps to consider that a 'Texas Chainsaw Massacre" movie is being prepared for release in 2016 by Lionsgate Films entitled "Leatherface".

The irony is that, Brian Chard made a witty remark that the selected line of characters failed to suit his tastes. For him, he would rather choose Havik, Khameleon, Fujin and Sareena. A lot of gamers would perhaps want to have other characters in exchange for those chosen ones. Ed Boon, franchise director, replied to the game enthusiasts via Twitter saying that they are listening and wishing to provide the favorite characters of everyone, Christian Post shared.

"Mortal Kombat X" is now on PC, Xbox One and PS4 and mobile gadgets; Kombat Pack 2 releases in 2016.
