Following the release of J.J. Abrams' space sci-fi film "Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens," several key points about the main trio characters from previous "Star Wars" films emerged.

Previous trailers of Abrams' "Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens" showed fans the Millenium Falcon, the huge spacecraft that was flown by Han Solo in the past "Star Wars" installments. In "The Force Awakens," the audience are going to leap from the iconic spacecraft and will be introduced to a better and newer one, according to AZ Central.

Solo and Princess Leia had been together in the past "Star Wars" generations. According to previous reports, the two iconic characters meet each other again, but they are not traveling together in Abrams' "Star Wars: Episode VII." In fact, Princess Leia is reported to leave her "princess" title in the other films and gets a new one in "The Force Awakens."

Luke Skywalker remained absent in the "Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens" marketing material, such as the film trailer and posters. This led many fans to speculate about the iconic Jedi hero. While some believe that he had turned to the "dark side" of the Force, some agree that he was going to appear at a certain point in the film.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the future of "The Force Awakens" may possibly see Rey discovering her combat skills set, Rey and Luke Skywalker in heated battles, Leia meeting the villain Kylo Ren, and Rey and Ren changing the face of the Force. While these are all possible, exact details are yet to be revealed.

"Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens" is set 30 years after the events in the "Return of Jedi." The film stars Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Adam Driver, Gwendoline Christie, Max von Sydow, Simon Pegg, Oscar Isaac, and Domhnall Gleeson, among others.
