Chinese Premier Li Keqiang said on Tuesday that China's economic improvements in terms of quality, efficiency and constant upgrading make a significant contribution to the overall world stability and development.

Li made the pronouncement during a meeting with the founder and executive chairman of World Economic Forum (WEF) Klaus Schwab, before the WEF annual conference in Davos, Switzerland.

The annual WEF meeting, which is held in Davos every winter, has a big effect on the international economy and consequently draws global attention.

This year's theme, appropriately named "New Global Context," is tied to the development of international trading situation.

Li further stated that despite the complexity of both local and international situations, China is geared toward a clear and positive trade acceleration and will maintain the implementation of pro-active fiscal policy with strong emphasis on basic structural reforms.

Li added that China is positioning itself toward advanced forms, more complex segregation of work and more logical structural analysis.

China is open to further cooperation with WEF and requests that WEF continue to lead in an active capacity in the bridging of understanding between China and the world.

Li was a keynote speaker at the opening ceremony of the WEF Annual Meeting 2015 and the Chinese premier's wisdom injected in his speech was more than welcome.

Schwab admitted that the Chinese economy is an important factor in the global political and economic system. Schwab later added the the forum is open for collaboration in the international scene.
