According to Walker Culture, the leaked trailer video for "The Walking Dead" (TWD) Season 6 episode 9 was showed at the recent event that was held on Feb. 5, Friday at The Smithsonian Institute. The event reportedly featured a discussion of the upcoming second half of the sixth season with actor Andrew Lincoln and showrunners Scott M Gimple and Greg Nicotero on the panel.
The website notes that the event also showcased a trailer teasing the first four minutes of the midseason premiere. This trailer was apparently recorded by someone in the audience and the video has surfaced online.
The leaked trailer for Season 6 episode 9 showcases Daryl Dixon, Sasha and Abraham's first encounter with the Saviours as it was shown in the post-credit scene of the midseason finale. The four-minute scene showcases the Saviour's elaborate introduction to the trio with a mention of Negan before the gang pulls out their guns at the trio.
Meanwhile, Spoiler TV confirms that the first five minutes of the midseason premiere "No Way Out" will be about Daryl, Sasha and Abraham's first meeting with the Saviours. It is said that their first meeting is going to be epic and unforgettable for the fans.
In addition, the website reveals that the upcoming segment will include a chilling voiceover, mention of several major dead characters and the past events. While it still remains unclear if Negan will show up in episode 9, it is said that he will be mentioned twice in the forthcoming segment.
At the same time, Rick implements his new plan and Denise will be captivated by a wolf. And fans can expect to learn more about the Saviours.
