-As One Punch man popularity continues to rise, this is a good deal for Madhouse Studio by adding another major media platform in Toonami. Viz Media currently owns the exclusive right to stream the anime in North America, but the exposure OPM would be getting on Toonami would be huge for the series.

Moreover, the timing is right for One Punch Man to get another media platform with season 2 reportedly just around the corner. Yusuke Murata, the man behind the One Punch Man manga remake, already confirmed that plans are already in store for season 2. There are already rumors that production is now at its initial stage, and the studio is targeting a tentative release in the final quarter of 2016 or early 2017.

-Marvel or DC comics are not the only ones that have versions of Civil War, because in the world of One Punch Man, a potential heroes vs. heroes showdown is about to begin.

Months after Gorou's defeat at the hands of Saitama, One's webcomic has now entered the Hero Hunter arc, which will introduce a new organization of super humans known as the Hero Hunters. This particular group is becoming a threat to Heroes Association's existence by recruiting potential S-Class members.

Genos, on the other hand, is starting to doubt the integrity of the Heroes' Association because of its corrupt ways.

"The time goes back to the present. A man named Axcel from an association known as the "Hunters" is being offered a spot in the Hero Association as an S-Class hero, due to the fact that the Hero Association lost a the supply of S-Class heroes after Garou's Hero Hunting arc. Surprisingly, Axcel denied the offer, saying that the Hero Association is corrupt. This can explain why Blast is always absent during a meeting session....

A sumo named Raiden was also offered a job in the Hero Association as an S-Class hero, but he denied the offer, since he heard about an association called the "Hunters". The chapter ends with Genos revealing that he has a feeling of distrust with the Hero Association, hinting that there will be a CIVIL WAR..."

If there's really a Civil War about to happen in One-Punch Man universe, then we should expect Saitama to stick around with the S-Class members of the Heroes' association against possibly Genos, the Hero Hunters and Blast - the no.1 ranked hero.

Tatsumaki revealed that Blast saved her 18 years ago and was the one that inspired her to become a hero. The latest webcomic chapter also unveiled striking similarity between Saitama and Blast, and both men are treating their daily hero job as hobby. But with these guys on separate faction, it would be interesting how our hero match up against the man considered the strongest of all. One Punch Man Civil War is here to shake every reader to its core.
