It was not so long ago when the hit Netflix political drama series, "House of Cards," ended its fourth season with a bang. Since "House of Cards" Season 5 is already confirmed, speculations about its plot points out to a possible death scene for Frank Underwood (played by Kevin Spacey).

It can be recalled that the finale episode of "House of Cards" Season 4 showed the president, Frank, wanting to be re-elected for another term in the highest position in the government, with his wife, Claire Underwood (played by Robin Wright), to be his Vice President in the election. Rumors has it that in "House of Cards" Season 5, Claire may want the position of his husband, instead of opting to be a spare tire of the president. With that said, fans are speculating that Claire will get rid of Frank permanently, Vine Report has learned.

According to the same publication, Doug Stamper (played by Michael Kelly), who is one of Frank's most trusted individuals, may be the one who will kill him in "House of Cards" Season 5. The speculated assassination is said to be orchestrated by Claire herself. The report also noted the failed assassination attempts to put down President Underwood in the recent season of "House of Cards."

On the other hand, a report on The Hollywood Reporter revealed the possible new actors and the characters that they would play in "House of Cards" Season 5. It is said that Sigourney Weaver would fit the role of Will Conway's (Joel Kinnaman) Vice Presidential candidate, while the whistle blower role may go to the actress, Rose McGowan.

The whistle blower is said to destroy the reputation and credibility of Frank Underwood. Despite of that, it is said that McGowan's character may also be introduced as the new love interest of Frank in "House of Cards" Season 5. The publication also cited the possible entry of Billy Bob Thornton as the Secret Service's new leader.

In relation to the release date of "House of Cards" Season 5, reports are loud that Season 5 will most likely be available in the first quarter of 2017.
