Cast members and the director of "Sense8" faced many challenges in Season 1 after the exit of Aml Ameen and Lilly Wachowski. However, there is hope for the upcoming second installment, and the crew has teased on the developments.

Max Riemelt who plays the German criminal Wolfgang had an interview with Buzz Feed News where he teased that the show will go a step higher in almost everything. The actor said that fans should expect "more sex and more violence" for the "sensates," particularly since the second season will focus on the psychic intimacies and their working closely to defeat Terrence Mann, who plays the villain called Whispers.

On the other hand, pharmacist Kala Dandekar from India (Tina Desai) will offer more of her scientific skills to the group that was established in Season 1. The character realized that she has romantic feelings for Wolfgang, but she is undecided due to her arranged nuptial. The tension may heighten in "Sense8" Season 2.

Brian J. Smith, who plays a cop from Chicago (Will Gorski), teased that the psychic bond will be stronger for all the sensates in the show. However, Smith added that Whisper will find it hard to infiltrate Gorski's mind since he will be in a "highly medicated state."
