The first season of "Sense8" received a lot of positive feedback from viewers and critics. The adventures of the eight "sensates," belonging to different parts of the world, had everyone intrigued and now with the second season in progress, fans are wondering what lies ahead.
A report published by BuzzFeed claims that the next season is going to be bolder and bigger with a lot of sex and violence making entry into the series. The cast is very excited about the next installment despite the exit of Aml Ameen and Lilly Wachowski. They believe that they can make the second season better than the previous installment.
Actor Max Riemelt, who played Wolfgang, has said that Season 2 will exceed what the season 1 revealed. He stated that viewers should get ready for more sex and violence when the sensates return for their adventures in the next season.
Sun Bak actress Bae Doona has revealed that Season 2 will have a lot of South Korean stars as part of her storyline, according to Soompi. The names include Ma Dong Seok, Cha In Pyo, Lee Ki Chan and more. She further said that the next season will see her character being explained in detail and how she is desperate to take revenge.
Notably, "Sense8" is a science fiction drama web series that was created for Netflix by J. Michael Straczynski and Lana and Lilly Wachowski. It deals with the journey of eight strangers who are mentally and emotionally linked with each other. The said connection makes them 'sensates' and the show explores various subjects like gender, identity, AIDS, religions, identity, politics, etc. through them.
The first season of the show revolved around the entry of these eight strangers and how their lives were related to each other. It was more of an introduction about them and the issues they were facing in their lives. And the next season aims to take the story forward and deal with their issues in detail.
"Sense8" Season 2 release date has not been confirmed yet but it is expected to be announced in the first quarter of 2017.
