The clip which was uploaded on the company's YouTube channel, introducing new character fusions like young Goku and Krillin which resulted into a hideous looking boy. Main characters Tekka and Pinich, who will be transported to a Dragon World via a portal, could be customized by the players allowing them to choose whether their characters will be a male or female human being, Saiyan, alien, spirit warrior and a single gender Namekian.

In the Dragon Ball Fusions game, Tekka and Pinich will see characters of Dragon Ball from different parts of the universe. Saiyan Island said that the game's storyline is about a big tournament created by Eternal Shenron where the strongest warriors will fight.

In the Dragon Ball Xenoverse, the characters are tasked to save the Dragonball universe. Players will use a Metamo-ring in order to combine two characters and create a new more powerful character.

Certain changes in the game were added like how they can do adventures, move like a tactical strategy game and the ability to fuse with other characters from the GT era, Frieza era, the Dragon Ball Z hero squad, and the Broly era.

Dualshockers reveal that two TV commercials were also released by Bandai Namco with a rap soundtrack. The short commercial gives gamers a glimpse of its game play as well as possible fusions like Vegeta and Trunks, and Krillin and Gohan.

Other confirmed fusions include Cell and Frieza, Beerus and Whis, and Towa and Arale. The characters that are created after the fusion can also be fused.

Although the Dragon Ball Fusions release is already confirmed in Japan, its Western release isn't confirmed yet, but it is believed that it might be out this year or next year for Nintendo 3DS gamers in North America and Europe.
