PSY then warmed up the stage, as he performed his hit songs "Gangnam Style" and "Daddy," while the boy group performed "Sentimental" during the awards show live broadcast.

Much to the fan's excitement and big cheers, Rain took to the center stage with his crew and sang-danced his way through the remixed version of his hit songs "30 Sexy" and "LA Song" from his 2014 album "Rain Effect." The stars were joined by Chinese musicians, including Li Yuchun, Jason Zhang, and Twins.

Rain's award comes as no surprise to many, given his immense popularity across Asian countries. On April 16, 2015, the Hallyu star was honored the statuette for Asia's Most Influential Korean Artist during the 19th annual Channel [V] China Music Awards (CMAs) in Macao.

Meanwhile, Rain is currently busy filming for "Endless August" (working title), an upcoming Chinese drama to be directed by Wang Xiao Kang. The drama, which also stars f(x)'s Victoria, is based on the titular mellow love story written by Chinese online literary sensation, Anni Baobei. It is said that filming for the drama will most likely wrap up sooner or later in October.

On July 6, a press conference for the upcoming drama was held in Shanghai, China, Drama Fever reported. It is said that actors Fu Xin Bo, Gao Leri, Wang Zi Jian and Kim Kwang Min will also star in "Endless August." A slew of photos from the event was widely circulated on Facebook.
