"The Late Late Show with James Corden" host is said to be in a feud with Stephen Colbert. James Corden has reportedly dismissed such rumors.

The 37-year-old comedian and host calls the Stephen Colbert feud rumors "silly." Moreover, Corden aslo dismissed rumors that his "Late Late Show" is taking Stephen Colbert's "The Late Show" time slot on CBS, according to People.

Corden's nightly show recently garnered four Emmy nominations. The rating also soared high because of the "Carpool Karaoke" segment, in which many stars have made guest appearances. Thus, the rumors suggested that the ratings are the reason that Colbert's program is trading time slots with Corden's TV show.

"I think it's mostly just people trying to drum up something that doesn't exist," Corden said. Moreover, he referred to his boss, CBS CEO Leslie Moonves. The comedian says that Moonves is not switching the time slot of either TV programs.

"And I know that when he makes a decision, that's the decision he's going to make. He's going to stick by that and so should he," Corden adds.

The comedian then explained that he thinks the idea of discussing time slots is "archaic." The act is so old-fashioned that he equates it with using the sand dial to tell the time.

Moving on, the "Carpool Karaoke" host complimented Colbert's "Late Show." The former asked, "Have you watched Stephen's show in the last two weeks?" Corden says that that the latter's TV program is incredible and fantastic.

He even said that he is proud that his show airs after Colbert's TV feat. In addition, he praised the "Late Show" host saying that as a host and broadcaster, he has incredible talent.

Meanwhile, Variety recently reported that Apple, to expand its venture in the music business, has bought the rights to a TV series that is based on James Corden's "Carpool Karaoke." In turn, the series will be available to Apple members located in 100 countries across the globe.

"Carpool Karaoke" is a segment that shows Corden driving around in a car with a celebrity. The comedian then gets that celebrity to sing famous tunes. Its popularity has convince apple that it will drive more streaming activity on its music platform

Going back to James Corden, it was good that he decided to set the record straight and made it clear that there is no feud between him and Stephen Colbert.
