Niantic's latest game patch for its mobile gaming app "Pokemon Go" has addressed a few technical issues and incorporated a new tracking system. However, the said update may have introduced a new game bug where a Pokemon trainer's world appears empty.

Some players may have experienced finding an empty map when they opened their gaming apps. The said glitch appears to be one of the worst "Pokemon Go" bugs, according to a report posted on GamenGuide. The new bug has seemingly wiped off all the Pokegyms, Pokestops and potential Pokemon creatures lurking in the wild.

The game's map would still visible, however, it has become empty. A few gamers may think that Niantic may have blocked them from playing the game. Although this may not be the case for some players. At this point, it is still unclear if the game developer is already working on a new patch to fix the said bug.

On the other hand, there may be a workaround solution to address the new game glitch. Some helpful "Pokemon Go" tips that were listed in the same report has identified a temporary fix where players are advised to reset their devices. Gamers affected by the said bug would need to turn off their phone's mobile data service before restarting the device.

Once the device boots up, the empty map issue in "Pokemon Go" should be addressed. If the problem persists, players should try restarting their phones several times, as stated in the same report. However, there may be instances when the restart tip may not work for some devices. In the said situation, the gamer would have no choice but to wait for Niantic's new patch.

Another helpful tip would be to check whether the game developer has imposed a ban on a player's account. The company has been going after "Pokemon Go" gamers who use emulators, hacking programs or third-party apps to enhance their gaming experience and increase the chances of capturing or evolving Pokemon characters. Niantic has reportedly issued both lifetime bans and temporary or "soft bans."

In such cases, the gamers should try sending an request message to Niantic to lift the ban, CNET reported. However, it may take several weeks before the game developer can respond to the appeal. Although one way to avoid being banned from "Pokemon Go" would be to avoid the use of systems or apps that will violate the game's Terms of Service.
