The Miz recently blasted Daniel Bryan in a very heated segment at Talking Smack that has got the WWE Universe talking. According to the latest rumors, Bryan might not be done wrestling and The Miz's promo could be a catalyst for a comeback.

The Intercontinental Champion was a special guest in the Talking Smack show when the SmackDown Live general manager criticized him for "wrestling like a coward." Bryan was just saying that The Miz was not taking risks in the ring that is why he does not stand out in the main roster.

However, The Miz lost it and unloaded some nasty comments towards the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Most of what he said was true but Bryan cannot be happy with the personal comments about his health.

It should be noted that the 34-year-old bearded GM retired last February due to a lesion found in his brain that causes seizures. He had an emotional farewell in his hometown of Seattle, Washington but the recent promo got people talking about a possible comeback.

According to Forbes, the WWE has not shut the door on the Bryan returning to the ring and wrestling for them again. It is mentioned that the WWE will continue the storyline and superstars are going to call out Bryan for retiring.

However, they are going to monitor Bryan' health and they have no plans to make him wrestle again at the moment. He was cleared by many doctors outside of the WWE and only the company doctor, Dr. Joseph Maroon, did not give him permission.

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer (subscription required) reported earlier this year that doctors from UCLA gave the green light for Bryan wrestling again. It should be noted that the WWE has been very cautious about head injuries ever since the Chris Benoit tragedy in 2007.

The company has been in partnership with former WWE superstar Chris Nowinski and his Concussion Legacy Foundation. The WWE has given a lot of donation to help the ongoing research about head injuries on wrestlers and other athletes.

Nevertheless, it is great to see Bryan on television again but it is very risky to let him wrestle again. The WWE can just use the story to elevate stars such as The Miz. Check out the video below for The Miz and Bryan's segment that the WWE Universe cannot stop talking about.
