Drawing cheers from his fans, Lee showcased different sides of himself that have not been known to many. He also discussed the reason he took up the role of Kang Chul in "W - Two Worlds."

Lee explained that he took up the role since he wanted to portray a new and distinctive character to show off his acting skills. He revealed that he concentrated more on intensive memorization and quick articulation, as screenwriter Song Jae-Jung demanded that he speak fast like the Sherlock Holmes character in the British series, "Sherlock."

Though he did not offer any revelations about the ending of the fantasy drama, Lee suggested that the show will still have a beautiful aftereffect even when it comes to an end. "W - Two Worlds" is slated to air its final episode on Sept. 14, which happens to be Lee's 27th birthday.

It is said that the "2016 Lee Jong Suk Fan Meeting Variety" was planned to thank all the fans for their unending loyalty and support. A series of photos from the event was widely circulated on Twitter.

Aside from the Seoul fan meeting, Lee will also hold similar meet-and-greet events in other Asian countries. Lee's next fan meeting event is scheduled in Osaka, Japan on Sept. 25, Tokyo, Japan on Sept. 27, Taiwan on Oct. 22 and Thailand on Oct. 28.

In other news, Lee will star next in "VIP," an upcoming espionage thriller film to be directed by Park Hoon-Jung, Soompi reported. He will play the son of a high-ranking North Korean official, Gwang-II, who is suspected of committing serial homicides around the world.
