"W - Two Worlds" fans can grieve now, as the story is officially coming to an end. The hit fantasy drama, which stars Han Hyo-Joo and Lee Jong-Suk, is slated to air its final episode on Sept. 14.

On Sept. 8, Thursday, Han's management, BH Entertainment, posted a photo of the "Dong Yi" actress on its official Instagram account. There, Han expressed how sad she is to say goodbye to "W - Two Worlds."

In the photo, the 29-year-old actress has a forsaken expression all over her face, as she leans her head against her hands. The caption, as translated by Soompi, reads, "I hate to part with Oh Yeon Joo, say this is not goodbye."

In the drama, Han took on the role of Dr. Oh Yeon-Joo, the daughter of the comic artist, Oh Sung Moo (Kim Eui-Sung), who made the famous webtoon series "W." She gets sucked into the webtoon by Kang Chul (Lee) and spares him a couple of times due to her ability to go back and forth between the real world and webtoon.

She and Kang Chul (Lee) has a romantic relationship. With everyone's eyes on "W - Two World's" ending, the entire cast and crew are keeping the details of the final episode under wraps.

Recently, the drama's production staff just released new stills to multiple news outlets. In the released photographs obtained by local newsoutlet Naver, Kang Chul is seen wearing a prisoner's uniform.

"Kang Cheol wearing a prisoner's uniform signals a crisis for the main character, and is raising anticipation for the finale of 'W'," the publication quoted the production staff as saying before a group of local reporters. "We hope you continue to tune into 'W' to see if it really ends with the happy ending that everyone is hoping for."

Meanwhile, earlier reports claimed MBC will release a special episode on Sept. 17 at 9:20 AM (KST). The episode will reportedly contain the most memorable scenes from "W - Two Worlds," as well as some of the behind-the-scenes footage from the drama's filming set.
