Jeremy Lin is undoubtedly one of the popular players in the NBA today and it looks like his reach will soon go as far as the comic book niche. Comic book writer Greg Pak plans to team up “Linsanity” with Marvel superhero, “The Hulk”.

According to AM New York, Jeremy Lin will be bringing his hardcourt heroics to “Totally Awesome Hulk” this coming December. Pak was one of the many NBA fans who was struck by the rise of “Linsanity” back in 2012 when the Asian-American was still with the New York Knicks.

And from there, Pak just got the wild idea of casting Lin into the comics. The plans are for Lin to be included and work alongside the comic book’s main protagonist, Amado Cho aka “The Hulk”.

For the benefit of those who may have missed out, Cho is the success of Dr. Bruce Banner who was the original “Hulk”. The transition happened back in 2005. Though the complete details have been held off for obvious reasons, Pak sounded off some of the plans for the December issue of “Totally Awesome Hulk”.

“Our story picks up when Amadeus is kind of at a low point,” said Pak. “He’s getting notoriety, people recognize him. He eventually ends up meeting Jeremy and the two of them team up for reasons that will be revealed soon.”

The whole idea for “Totally Awesome Hulk” was already pitched to the Lin camp. Another spill could see Cho and Lin sporting the same haircut, a fashion trend that Lin has been known to do in the NBA today.

Seeing that both Lin and the fictional character Cho are Asian-Americans, the combo makes a lot of sense, CBS Sports reported. With much not fully aware of the change, infusing Lin and his following is seen as a good ploy as well that will help pick up the popularity of “Totally Awesome Hulk”.

The new dish should be another feather in the cap of Jeremy Lin who will be taking on a starting role for the Brooklyn Nets this coming season. Brook Lopez, a big comic fan, should be one of the many personalities who will try to con Lin into spilling out more details soon.
