Michael Schumacher's lawyer has explained in court how the skiing accident happened in December 2013 in detail. A German magazine Bunte that had reported Schumacher could walk again has been sued by his family.

Felix Damm, Schumacher's lawyer and his family have revealed the full extent of his injuries to the court. The horrendous accident had put the 47-year-old F1 champion in a coma.

Damm has also revealed the current health status of Schumacher. He said. "He cannot walk." Schumacher is not able to stand even when he is helped by therapists. The case that was filed against the magazine has asked the court to provide right to privacy for Schumacher, Mirror reported.

Schumacher's family has sued the German magazine for €40,000-100,000 mainly for invading his privacy, Telegraph reported.

Bunte had reported that a friend of Schumacher whose name has been withheld had stated that the five-time F1 world champion is very thin at present. He is able to walk couple of steps with assistance from his therapists. He added that Schumacher is also able to raise his arm.

Schumacher's manager, Sabine Kehm said, "Unfortunately, we are forced by a recent press report to clarify that the assertion that Michael could move again is not true." He further stated that the considering the seriousness of injuries, privacy is very important for Schumacher.

Kehm said that the report published by Bunte "give false hopes to many involved people." He also denied the rumors of Schumacher that he would be able to walk again.

On the ill-fated day of Dec. 29, 2013, Schumacher was on vacation with his wife Corinna and his two children at the ski resort of Mirabel. While skiing he fell and struck his head on a rock.

For six months, he was in medically induced com at Grenoble Hospital. He was then moved to Lausanne, Switzerland in June 2014. In September 2014, he was taken to hometown in Germany for further treatment.

Schumacher is being treated at his lavish home that is located at the shores of Lake Geneva. Full-time staff have been employed to take care of the motorsport icon.
