Just a few more weeks and Harry Potter fans in China can indulge again in the magical world of wizards as "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" hits the cinemas on Nov. 18.
The release date for the movie in China is the same as in the U.S. and the U.K.
"Fantastic Beasts" is based on a book which was written by J.K. Rowling, under the pseudonym Newt Scamander, and was published in 2001.
It depicts to be a reproduction of a book owned by Harry Potter as a student in Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Through the pages, the reader can see doodles and notes made by Harry and his best friends Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger--something that an avid fan of the Harry Potter series can enjoy.
In the wizarding world of Harry potter, "Fantastic Beasts," which was written by Scamander, is a required textbook for first-year students in Hogwarts. It has a foreword by Albus Dumbledore, headmaster of Hogwarts.
The book contains descriptions of around 80 beasts with the information coming from Scamander's experience as a magizoologist, one who studies magical creatures, and his observations during years of travel around the world.
The film is directed by David Yates who also directed the last four movies of the Harry Potter series--the Order of the Phoenix, Half-blood Prince and the two installments of the Deathly Hallows.
Award-winning British actor Eddie Redmayne plays the role of Scamander.
Set 70 years before the saga of Harry Potter, the story takes place in New York City where Scamander magically arrives carrying a magical suitcase which hides magical creatures.
"Fantastic Beasts" is certain to roar in Chinese theaters, and for some two hours Chinese Muggles can peek into the thrilling lives of wizards, witches and mythical creatures.
