In the period drama, directed by Li Huizhy from Hong Kong, Tiffany Tang Yan would wear 90 ancient costumes, the first time it would happen on the TV drama career of the actress, according to CRIEnglish. In the drama, Princess Wei Yang enters the enemy territory by mistake and wrongly identified as Li Weiyan, a teacher’s daughter.

It would be a hard and difficult life for the princess, but she would eventually become a powerful woman by using her wisdom. According to 33-year-old Tiffany Tang Yan, the princess has an insightful mind and cares about long-term interest. Princess Wei Yang knows how to set her ambitious goals step by step.

Despite various incidents occurring, the princess still has everything under control. To protect the Chinese royalty, young actor Luo Jin would portray a general. Other cast of the costume drama are Van Ness Wu, a Taiwan-American singer-actor, and Leanne Liu, a Hong Kong actress and a Golden Bell awardee.

Tiffany Tang Yan was last seen in the movie “Bounty Hunters,” shown on May 23. She starred opposite popular South Korean actor Lee Min Ho, according to Soompi. In China, the movie – a joint Korean-Chinese financed movie – premiered on July 1.

It was directed by Shin Tae Ra of “7th Grade Civil Servant” and produced by Raymond Wong Pak Ming, a famous Hong Kong producer.

Surely, none of the 90 costumes that the actress wore for the new drama is counterfeit. In 2015, Tiffany Tang Yan was embarrassed when a representative of fashion brand Elie Saab informed the actress’s office that the blue dress she wore at the 18th Shanghai International Film Festival, a red carpet event, was a counterfeit. Epoch Times reported. A blogger claimed it was the second time it happened to the actress involving an Elie Saab dress which she also wore to a high-profile event in 2013.
