Samsung is under intense pressure to make the Galaxy S8 the best Android smartphone in 2018. After the Galaxy Note 7 fiasco, the South Korean tech giant could surprise fans with the new flagship smartphone.

Several artists are already trying to imagine what the Samsung Galaxy S8 will look like. One artist named Veniamin Geskin released concept renders of the upcoming flagship smartphone from Samsung showing the screen with no home button present.

Geskin's render could be possible considering that Apple is also reportedly planning to ditch the home button for their upcoming iPhone 8 expected to be released in 2018 as well, Trusted Reviews reported. There are also speculations that the fingerprint sensor will be placed under the display glass which will make it easier for users to authenticate.

Samsung could also present an all-screen display which means that the front of the display will be all screen. That would seem to be less likely considering that there needs to be a space for the front cameras and motion sensors.

In addition, the S8's screen could be made larger compared to its predecessors. The Samsung Galaxy S8 could be released in either 5.7-inch or a 6.2-inch model, Value Walk reported. It could mean that the Galaxy Note 8 could actually be larger if the speculations are true.

Possibly powering the Galaxy S8 is the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 or the Exynos 8895 depending on which region. It could also feature the Viv AI assistant after Samsung acquired Viv Labs. The AI assistant would take on the likes of Apple's Siri, Microsoft's Cortana, Amazon's Alexa and the Google Assistant.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 could also be powered by a 4200mAh battery and the 6GBB LPDDR4 RAM that was revealed earlier. They could also use the BioBlue 4K screen for the display which is more efficient and clearer than AMOLED.
