"Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered" and "Infinite Warfare" are going to get new maps along with a load of other special add-ons on Dec 13. The extras are a part of Activision's holiday bonuses and include new weapons, events, and modes.

According to details unveiled by the official "Call of Duty" Twitter account, "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered" will receive six additional maps from the original game. The complete list is as follows: Countdown, Wet Work, Bloc, Showdown, Pipeline, and Strike.

Apart from that, two popular game modes extracted from recent "Call of Duty" games will see their way into "Modern Warfare Remastered." The two, namely "Hardpoint" and "Gun Game," will be accessible to gamers free of charge provided they have already bought a Legacy Edition that includes "Modern Warfare Remastered," Neuro Gadget reported.

To add an icing on the cake, Activision has announced a new Winter Crash map, which is a Christ-mas-themed repaint of the earlier one that takes place at night. As well, "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" will receive a Genesis Holiday Map, which will be supplemented by a 24/7 Genesis Holiday playlist.

Additional content on "Infinite Warfare" does not end there as Activision is giving out a fresh Epic Prototype "Hailstorm Thunder" weapon (pistol) to players who have remained loyal by playing "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" and "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare." The new weapon includes an elegant shiny design and a three-round burst.

Players will experience increased recoil, with the whirlwind perk boosting auto burst and fast cycling. A second Focus Perk will then reduce idle sway when players aim down their sights.

That is not the only item coming to "Infinite Warfare." According to iDigital Times, there will be "12 Days of Winter," which, as the name suggests, will guarantee that players receive cool gifts starting from Dec 21 all the way to Jan. 1, 2017, when they log into the game on a daily basis.

These freebies can be anything from key and Salvage bonuses to winter-themes prototypes or items. Later on, gamers should expect Double XP events to be announced. Every player is, therefore, advised to stay tuned for more "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered" and "Infinite Warfare" updates.
