Characters in both DC and Marvel lores have been popping up left and right in both small and big screens and it's very much obvious that the actors who get to play them are the ones who are getting the huge piece of the pie in terms of the projects that are lined up for them. That being said, a few of them already have switched from DC to Marvel and vice versa and it looks like actor Robbie Amell is already sending in some feelers about such move.

Reports are getting rife that Amell, who is known to assume the personas of Ronnie Raymond and the villain Firestorm in CW's "The Flash," may have hinted about crossing over to the Marvel Cinematic Universe's (MCU) fence.

Comicbook's Brandon Davis came across with the actor at this year's "Heroes and Villains" fan fest in Atlanta and talked about his most recent stint in "The Flash" as the abovementioned villain. When asked about his thoughts in switching over to the MCU, he jokingly said that he has no loyalties and added that his character keeps on getting killed off in the show.

On a serious note, though Amell further explained that it does not matter if the project will be from either Marvel or DC. He went on saying that as long as the part catches his fancy, then he will take on the part that is being offered.

Furthermore, it's a known fact that both cinematic universes have progressed at an amazing rate over the years and it is expected both production studios will be tapping more characters as future expansions come in. Hence, it is believed that it will be just a matter of time before actors will be hopping in between studios, Cinema Blend reported.
